Download FedEx Invoices in Bulk: PDF and CSV Guide

To download FedEx invoices, start with FedEx Billing Online's native export. It already supports retrieving invoice PDFs; the recurring finance problem is keeping the right accounts, supporting details, and missing files organized after the download.
The steps below follow FedEx Canada's published help, checked on November 5, 2026. Interface labels and limits can differ by country or portal version. This is an official-documentation guide, not a demonstration using a customer's billing account or a tested BrowserAct FedEx Bot.
Download individual invoice PDFs as a batch
FedEx Canada's Billing Online help describes this route:
- Open Invoices, or View all Invoices from the summary.
- Select the required invoice checkboxes and choose Download.
- Select PDF. Download/Save creates a ZIP of individual PDFs; Print produces a combined PDF.
- Retrieve the generated file through Download Centre.
That help page specifies up to ten invoices per batch. Treat this as a Canadian-documentation limit, not a universal FedEx rule. A ZIP with individual files is generally easier to match to an AP checklist than a combined reading copy; choose the output your process needs.
For an individual invoice, FedEx's copy-invoice FAQ describes opening its number, choosing Download invoice and PDF, then creating the download. It says the generated link remains in Download Center for 14 days. That link lifetime is not the same as your organization's invoice-retention requirement: save the file into the approved archive.
Know which document you are collecting
An invoice PDF, a shipment-detail file, and proof of delivery answer different questions. Do not mark an invoice as collected just because a shipment row appeared in a spreadsheet.
Deliverable | What it is useful for | What it does not establish alone |
Individual invoice PDF | Supplier document archive and invoice-level review | That every expected invoice was collected |
Combined invoice PDF | Reading several invoices in one file | A separate original-file archive for each invoice |
Invoice-detail CSV or other data export | Shipment and charge reconciliation | Possession of the invoice PDF |
Proof of delivery | Reviewing a delivery-related exception | The supplier's billing document |
Customs support | Investigating a duty/tax exception | Availability for every shipment or account |
Build the expected invoice list before collecting
For a recurring process, write down the account scope and invoice-date range first. This is a recommended control, not a FedEx interface requirement. It prevents a common batch problem: downloading several files without knowing whether the set is complete.
Use a register with account reference, invoice number, invoice date, document type, expected file, and retrieval status. Add a business reference such as tracking ID only when the downstream reconciliation needs it. Keep invoice and shipment identifiers in separate fields.
Choose an explicit date convention. Invoice date, shipment date, due date, and payment date can put a transaction into different reporting periods. A download task should not silently substitute one for another when it encounters an empty result.
After retrieval, reconcile the register to the files. A ZIP that opens successfully can still contain the wrong month. Compare document identifiers and account references, then record any missing files rather than treating the folder's existence as completion.
Handle missing documents as exceptions
An absent invoice needs an explanation before another broad rerun. Check account scope, filters, status, available history, and whether the invoice was actually expected in the selected period. A login that succeeds does not establish access to every linked billing account.
Keep three outcomes distinct: the portal did not list the document; it listed the document but retrieval failed; or a file arrived but did not match the expected invoice. These outcomes require different follow-up and should not all become a generic “download failed.”
For a second run, use the missing-item register. A stable archive key can combine supplier, account reference, document type, and invoice number. Hashes help identify identical bytes, but matching hashes do not replace checking the business identifier. If a later supplier file changes, preserve the relevant version history instead of silently overwriting it.
Where browser automation can add value

The native batch export is the baseline. Browser automation becomes worth evaluating when the same work recurs across accounts, requires exception-specific supporting documents, or needs a consistent handoff to a file register.
BrowserAct offers reusable Cloud Bots and a separate Agent-facing CLI/Skills route. For a proposed FedEx collector, the acceptance contract should cover the selected regional portal, account scope, original PDFs, required detail files, missing-item reasons, and a repeat run. The existence of the automation platform does not prove that this particular collector has passed those checks.
Start with one account and three to five known invoices. That is a proposed validation sample, not a reported result. Only expand after the original documents reconcile. If your existing email or EDI delivery already supplies the needed records, use browser work to fill a specific gap rather than rebuilding a working feed.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can I download FedEx invoices in bulk?
FedEx Canada's published Billing Online help describes selecting invoices and downloading a ZIP of individual PDFs. It lists ten invoices per batch; check your own regional portal.
Is the CSV the invoice PDF?
No. Invoice-detail data and the PDF serve different purposes. Keep both when your reconciliation process needs shipment-level data and supplier-document evidence.
Why is my file not in the local folder yet?
A generated export may need to be retrieved from Download Center. Check whether the export was created, became available, and was actually saved locally.
Does this guide provide a tested BrowserAct FedEx template?
No. It explains official native retrieval and a proposed automation acceptance contract. An authorized account is still needed to validate a portal-specific Bot.
