In March 2025, Over, Lada, Maggie, and I marveled at Mauns' performance while pondering whether this could be an opportunity we should seize. We conducted interviews and research within the community, uncovering a shared dilemma: In an era where anyone can build their own AI assistant, how can we acquire the desired data more cost-effectively, efficiently, and accurately?

That was the spark that ignited BrowserAct.

Last year, building and acquiring the data you wanted required programming skills and expertise, specialized knowledge in data extraction, and significant time for maintenance.
