Detail

Why X address answers can differ

A registered office, principal place of business and privacy mailing address are distinct labels. X’s current Terms of Service and Privacy Policy also apply their statements to specific entities and user regions.

An address can be valid for one purpose without being a public visitor entrance, general support desk or a complete description of the company’s workplaces.

X address evidence by entity and purpose

This table preserves the document labels. The Austin principal-place-of-business row belongs to announced future-effective terms as of the verification date; it is not presented as already effective.

Austin versus Bastrop: check the version date

The current-version terms name 865 FM 1209, Building 2, Bastrop, TX 78602 as a registered office. The announced October 9 terms use 800 W Cesar Chavez St., Austin, TX 78701 as a principal place of business.

The effective date is a document date, not proof of a physical move-in day. These terms need a fresh version check on or after October 9, 2026; a later reader should not assume the October 7 status remains current.
