Scott Wu’s verified leadership role

The Stripe interview with Scott Wu identifies him as co-founder and CEO of Cognition. This provides a source for that role without establishing every current executive.

The source set does not contain a complete current leadership roster. Additional names should be added only after their company affiliation and exact title are verified, rather than inferred from appearances in old launch material.

Five office cities named in the company update

Cognition’s July 14, 2026 update says its offices span the following cities. It does not provide street addresses or designate headquarters in that passage.

What the Windsurf milestone does and does not establish

The July article is a first-anniversary account of Cognition and Windsurf building together. It supports a dated integration milestone and the office-city statement. Anniversary wording alone is not a substitute for a separate acquisition closing document.

The downloadable file includes three company facts and five city records. It excludes unrefreshed funding totals from older About text and keeps street addresses blank. Five cities also do not establish exactly five physical office buildings.
