Template of Telegram Personal Assistant (Read Message)

Brief

Automates the reading of chat history and the sending of messages on Telegram Web to function as a 24/7 AI auto-responder.

What does Telegram Personal Assistant (Read Message) do?

This template serves as the hands and eyes of your AI agent on Telegram Web. It navigates to your chat list or a specific conversation to scrape recent message history, providing the context needed for the AI to determine if a reply is necessary.

Once a reply is drafted by the AI, this template handles the physical action of typing the text into the message box and clicking send, effectively automating the entire communication loop without API limitations.

What data can you scrape from Telegram ?

Platform: Telegram Web (web.telegram.org)

Data Points:

• Incoming Message History
• Sender Names
• Time Stamps
• Message Status (Read/Unread)
• Active Chat List

How to use Telegram Personal Assistant (Read Message) ?

• Run via n8n: This template is triggered on a schedule (e.g., every 15 minutes) by the Auto-reply to Telegram messages workflow.
• Provide Input: Map the Chat URL (to read history) and, if replying, the Generated Message from the AI.
• Output: The template returns the latest chat logs or a success confirmation after sending.
• Next Steps: The workflow loops to verify that the message was delivered successfully.

Why scrape Telegram ?

• 24/7 Availability: Respond to clients or community members instantly, even while you sleep.
• Contextual Replies: Unlike basic auto-responders, this allows AI to read the full history before replying.
• Personal Branding: Maintain an active presence on your personal account without sitting at your computer.

This template is a dependency for the n8n workflow: Auto-reply to Telegram messages using BrowserAct & Google Gemini. It bypasses the need for the official Telegram Bot API for personal accounts by automating the web interface directly.
