How to use Automated Industry Trend Scraper & Outline Creator ?
This template is designed to be triggered via the BrowserAct API, specifically within the "Create curated industry trend reports" n8n workflow. 2. Provide Input: You must pass the specific Medium tag URL you wish to track. 3. Output: The template returns a JSON array containing the list of recent articles found on that tag page. 4. Next Steps: This data is typically passed to an AI agent (like Claude or ChatGPT) to analyze relevance and remove duplicates before generating a final report.
Why scrape Medium ?
Medium is a primary source for thought leadership, engineering blogs, and emerging industry trends. Scraping this data allows you to:
- Monitor Trends: Track specific keywords to see what experts are discussing in real-time.
- Filter Noise: Automate the reading process to separate high-quality insights from clickbait.
- Curate Content: Quickly build digests for newsletters or internal team updates.
This template is a dependency for the n8n workflow: "Create curated industry trend reports from Medium to Google Docs." Ensure this template is saved in your BrowserAct account before running the n8n automation.
