Template of ABM Signal Monitor

Brief

Automates the extraction of market growth signals, such as funding rounds and company expansion lists, for specific target industries.

What does ABM Signal Monitor do?

This template performs a targeted search based on a specific industry keyword (e.g., "Fintech" or "Property Management"). It navigates to relevant business directories or news aggregators, extracting raw data regarding company activities, specifically looking for indicators of growth like recent funding rounds, hiring surges, or strategic partnerships.

In the context of the workflow, this template acts as the raw data collector. It gathers a broad set of potential leads from the web, which is then passed to an AI Agent. The AI uses this data to filter out noise, verify dates, and identify high-value prospects that match the "current month" criteria for the sales team.

What data can you scrape from Business Growth Platforms ?

• Platform: Business News / Directories (e.g., Google News, Crunchbase)
• Data Points:
  • Company Name
  • Funding/Growth Event Details (Amount, Series)
  • Event Date
  • Industry Context
  • Source URL

How to use ABM Signal Monitor ?

• Run via n8n: Trigger the "Scrape industry growth signals from BrowserAct to Slack reports" workflow via the monthly schedule.
• Provide Input: The workflow's "Set Target Industry" node maps the desired industry (e.g., "Healthcare") to the template's input field.
• Output: The template returns a raw text or JSON list of companies and associated recent news snippets found for that industry.
• Next Steps: The data is immediately passed to the AI Agent (OpenRouter) node to filter for events that occurred in the current month.

Why scrape Business Growth Platforms ?

• Timely Intelligence: Automatically catch funding rounds or growth spurts the moment they are published.
• Account-Based Marketing: precision-target companies that have just received capital and are likely ready to buy services.
• Scalability: Monitor multiple industries simultaneously without manual research.

This template is a dependency for the n8n workflow: Scrape industry growth signals from BrowserAct to Slack reports. It provides the raw market data required for the AI to generate the Slack report.
