Social Media Finder
How to Build a Social Media Finder Workflow: Step by Step
Building a Social Media Finder workflow with BrowserAct does not require coding skills—it's automation-ready and easy to set up. Follow these instructions to learn how to find someone's social media efficiently.
Step 1: Set Parameter - People_Name
Configure the search parameter:
- Parameter Name: People_Name
- Value: Enter the person's name or username you want to search for
- Important: Use the "+" symbol between words (e.g., "John+Smith" or "Sarah+Johnson+Designer")
This format is critical—without the "+" between words, the search will not work correctly.

Step 2: Add the Visit Page Node
Configure the navigation:
- URL:
https://www.google.com/search?q=/People_Name+social+account - This automatically constructs a Google social search query using your specified name plus social account keywords

Step 3: Add the Wait Node
Add a wait period:
- Duration: 10 seconds
- Purpose: Allows our system to automatically handle any human verification checks (CAPTCHAs) in the background
No action required from you—the tool handles verification automatically.

Step 4: Add the Scroll Page Node
Configure scrolling behavior:
- Action: Select "Scroll to bottom"
- Purpose: Ensures all search results on the page are loaded before extraction begins

Step 5: Add the Extract Data Node
Set up data extraction:
In the Data Field prompt box, enter:
Extract all social profile results from this page: Platform name, Followers count (as displayed under the platform label), Page title, Description snippet (the short bio text under the title), and Profile URL.
Enable Filtering Criteria and enter:
Exclude/ignore any AI Overview content
This ensures you only get actual social media profile results without Google's AI-generated summary content.

Step 6: Finish - Output Data Node
Configure your output:
- Format: Select CSV
- Option: Check "Output as a file"
Your results will be delivered as a downloadable CSV file with all discovered social profiles neatly organized.
That's it! The workflow will automatically search across all platforms and return organized results.
